Fleet Managers Urge Use of Re-refined Oil
Fleet management associations across California are undertaking an aggressive outreach effort to educate public and private fleet managers about re-refined oil. The ultimate goal is to encourage wide spread use of re-refined oil among fleet operations.
Re-refining takes dirty oil and turns it back into fresh, "good-as-new" oil that can be used in cars and trucks. American Petroleum Institute (API) certified re-refined oil is equal to, or better than, oil made from virgin base stock.
Buying re-refined oil reduces our dependence on imported oil, reduces the depletion of natural resources, and helps create domestic "green jobs."
